PLANNING AN INSTAGRAM FEED IS NOT EASY! BIZ VLOG 153-158.

Day 153-155 (00:09)- For three days we were pretty much on lockdown because of Hurricane Lane. THANKFULLY the hurricane warnings turned into tropical storm warnings and then completely dissolved after the third day. Needless to say, I didn’t get much, if any, work done during these days. We packed all of our computer stuff just in case we were hit badly by the storm and the big windows in our office broke, so it was a forced weekend off. I’m glad that there was no hurricane and that everyone is safe!

Day 156 (03:23) – I spent some time in a semi- funk but was able to snap out of it pretty quickly! I worked on getting the “big picture stuff” clear with my business AND lifestyle brand, this was a huge help! I spent a lot of time doing that exact thing when I first started this vlog but I’m learning that it’s okay to step back every once in a while, to get REALLY clear on what you’re working towards. This experience of starting a business, creating content and growing a brand is everchanging so I’m learning to be flexible and acknowledge that my goals and ideas will change… and that’s okay too!

Day 157 (03:23) – I’ve decided to begin planning/curating my lifestyle brand Instagram to double-test everything I’ll be teaching in my social media course… this stuff is NOT easy! I haven’t been consistent with writing or creating content specifically for my Instagram feed so I had a hard time getting in the groove of things. For example, I took nearly twenty minutes to write ONE caption. Twenty minutes, one caption!!! That’s ridiculous right!? But it’s okay, the important thing is that I got started AND I’m learning so much every step of the way. This will get easier in time…

Day 158 (06:50) – Today I worked on uploading and scheduling Instagram content on a program called Later and it didn’t go as well as I would have liked. I was hoping to complete a few weeks of scheduling by now, but it seems I need just a little longer. I was able to schedule and upload a little over 20 images and video and the entire time I couldn’t stop thinking about how so many other people must be struggling with this as well! And that’s exactly why I’m creating my course; I want to help make this process even a little easier for other creators in the health and wellness space! I’ve never felt more excited and confident about what I’m working on!

Thank you for being here with me and allowing me to share my journey! Enjoy!
