Last week Eddie and I had the opportunity to meet, learn from and shoot alongside amazing photographers. We were able to register in time to have a spot at the first San Diego Shootout organized by Stephen Knuth and Yvonne LeBrun, who did an amazing job at putting together such an awesome event! Eddie and I felt nervous before going, while driving there and while in the parking lot! HA! I have no idea why we were being little drama queens but after arriving we felt so welcomed, calm and relaxed. And of course, getting to see the fabulous Stacee Lianna again totally made my night!
We also got to meet The Youngrens! One word: AMAZING! Eddie and I were so impressed with their willingness to help, encourage and share everything they possibly could. They are a wonderful example for us, especially because they are a husband and wife team and that’s something that we are also working towards. There were so many photographers that we are so grateful to have met! Soooooo much talent in one big group! It really makes me so happy to know that we belong to such a wonderful community of photographers!
Shawn, Brooke, Kaylie, Rachel, Mark, Nastasja, Lindsey and Veronica, Thank You, Thank You and Thank You! I didn’t even get to work with all of you but just by looking at you, I felt inspired!

Mark and Rachel are definitely two that I want in front of my camera again! Soooooo easy and wonderful to work with!
Kaylie and Brooke were stunning! I didn’t get to shoot either of them as much as I wanted to because it got too dark and since I’m a genius, I decided to leave my flash at home! Oh well! But just look at that face!
There was never a dull moment when Kaylie was in front of the camera! She was amazing and a total pro! AMAZING!
