I wish I could say that I turned the isle with hope, but I didn’t. I was being a little negative and kind of annoying but I continued pushing my fruit and veggie filled cart slowly and almost certain that there still wouldn’t be any other options for me. You see, every week that I turn the corner to go into the dessert isle I hope that they add more vegan choices to the mix.
Well, yesterday I could have busted out in the happiest dance of all dances right there in the middle of the isle and if someone would have handed me a microphone, I would have sung at the top of my lungs! Yes, it was that great. Finding that the local market added another company to the vegan cookie lineup is kind of a big deal. I was so excited to share my findings with my fellow vegan(my mom), so this morning I walked into her house with an excited GUESS WHAT!? We skipped the dancing and signing and went straight to enjoying our freshly squeezed fruit juice with our Quinoa Cookies.
So today I write on my blog with an excited GUESS WHAT!? attitude as well, although I know every single photographer knows about these things already, I simply want to remind people about the things that some AMAZING photographers have been planning and I hope that we can sing and dance together as we encourage each other to take part in these wonderful events!
First thing, the Spread the Love Tour with Justin & Mary Marantz is coming to San Diego on February 4th, 2010! Big deal people! Even if you are not a photographer in San Diego I encourage you to head on over to their site and grab your tickets today! I’ll even share some of my Quinoa Cookies with you if you sign up. Seriously though, I know this is going to be awesome so I don’t want anyone to miss it! And even if you’re not in San Diego, they’re going to be visiting 20 other cities so I hope you are able to grab a seat before it’s sold out!

The second event that I plan on singing and dancing about is Me Ra Koh’s AMAZING SOAR! Scholarship Program. If you are a woman who wants to or has started a photography business, I highly recommend that you go to the SOAR! site and read about the program that will change the lives of three women. But don’t stop there, I encourage you to submit your application and video! !! I’m such a blabber mouth it’s been so hard for me to keep the video under two minutes but I’m still working on it! Click here to view the amazing videos that have been submitted by wonderful and hard working women and don’t forget that the deadline for submissions is December 21st, 2009.

So off I go to brainstorm about my video while enjoying what’s left of my Quinoa Cookies because when I get nervous I like to stuff my face with anything sweet. And laugh. A lot. It’s the most random thing, my nerves are falling apart but I’m hysterically laughing.
Here’s proof…looking oh, so put together while being photographed by the awesome Jamie Delaine.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and don’t forget to sign up for the Spread the Love tour and submit your application for the SOAR! program. Have a fabulous day!
