Most people get up early on a day like today. Get ready, off to work, lunch, more work, come home…. and just like that, back into the normal routine. Their kids, family and even pets are also back to the weekly activities. It’s Monday.
But, it doesn’t matter how ‘normal’ my Monday is and it doesn’t matter what routine I get myself back into, two little members of our family refuse to conform. They’re stuck on Sunday. Every day is a lazy Sunday for them. It’s on the verge of ridiculous but what’s worse is that I seem to be the one conforming to their so-called Sunday routine.
For example, Lola will have nothing other than running water every morning, afternoon and evening….and of course I’m the fool who has to drop my Monday cleaning routine (hence the dirty faucet) and run to her every time she calls.
And Lili will have nothing other than silence during her nap/grooming time…
Like I said, they’re seriously stuck on Sunday.
But to everyone else who believes the changing days of the week exist, have a wonderful Monday!
