Burried In His Arms

It’s simple.

I overcomplicate things. I go to extremes. I run late, get lost, complain and always want things to go my way. I lose motivation and confidence plenty of times throughout the day and I’m completely prone to burst into tears at any given time.

He simplifies things. He meets me in the middle. He plans ahead, uses maps, listens and always reasons with me. He gives me the extra push and speaks all the right words so I can maintain momentum and he is always ready for when I need to bury myself in his arms, sometimes more than once a day.

Simply put, he truly is my better half. Every day this becomes clearer than the last, and this weekend was no exception.

Besides the amazing time spent with friends and family, Eddie and I had the opportunity to participate in our second San Diego Photog Shootout and the next day we had the privilege of working with a beautiful couple that we just love! Neither of the two would have been possible without his help and support considering the little description I gave of myself. Surely I would have ended up tangled in my own plans while pulling chunks of hair from my head. Well, maybe not that dramatic, but close.

Here’s a little peak of the session I’m currently working on….

I realize that I’ve posted ‘sneak peaks’ two weeks in a row without any continuation. Lame. But I’m catching up and working away to get everything on the blog as soon as possible! So be sure to check back to see photos of the people that own my heart, the SD Shootout and the awesome couple above!

As always thank you for taking the time to stop by!

Judie Zevack - Beautiful post chiquita!! Its such a blessing to have that person in your life that is a constant support system, who knows you inside and out, who will back off when you need the space and who will hold you so tight when you're scared and doubtful. It doesn't get any better than that and as much as you're grateful for having Eddie by your side, I am sure he is just as blessed by having you by his. Muah!
